My journey to becoming a mental health counselor was inspired by a lifelong passion for helping others heal and reconnect with themselves. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Law from Central Penn College and spent several years working in corporate America. During that time, I served clients in personal injury law, imports and distribution, and compliance.
I understand firsthand the pressures, high stakes, and emotional demands that come with high-pressure careers—especially when you are also trying to balance professional success with family life. It was through this experience that I realized I wanted to support people in a deeper way, helping them not just succeed but truly heal.
I pursued my Master’s Degree in Counseling at Nova Southeastern University and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). In addition, I hold certifications in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Anxiety Treatment. I actively participate in the Florida Mental Health Counseling Association and the Mental Health Counselors Association of West Palm Beach.
My clinical experience spans working with adolescents and adults across the lifespan, supporting clients through challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, and personal growth. I have facilitated group therapy focused on anger management, emotional processing, and social skills development, particularly for teens navigating interpersonal challenges and self-esteem issues.
I have worked in private practice settings including South Florida Counseling and Assessment in Fort Lauderdale, the Center for Psychological Services in Hollywood, and the Psychological Wellness Center in Lake Worth. I have also provided contracted services to the Miami-Dade School District and Oxbridge Academy, where I supported students within educational environments.
My clinical journey began with a prestigious internship at the Faulk Center for Counseling, a well-regarded nonprofit training facility known for its excellence in clinical development. The center is renowned for providing in-depth, evidence-based training under the supervision of seasoned clinicians. During my time there, I received extensive experience working with diverse populations through both individual and group counseling. I was trained in a range of therapeutic modalities and benefited from intensive supervision and clinical feedback, which greatly shaped my skill set and therapeutic approach.
Continued learning is very important to me. I stay current with the latest research, evidence-based theories, and clinical tools so I can offer the best support possible to my clients.
I provide telehealth therapy for adults across Florida who are navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and long-standing patterns that feel difficult to shift. Many of my clients are moving through significant changes such as divorce, career transitions, relationship challenges, or stepping into new stages of personal growth.
My work is grounded in attachment-informed therapy, helping clients understand how early relationships and life experiences shape the way they connect with themselves and others. Together, we explore patterns such as people-pleasing, fear of conflict, difficulty trusting, or feeling responsible for others’ emotions—gently creating new ways of relating that feel more secure and authentic.
If you are managing complicated family dynamics, working to set healthier boundaries, or carrying unresolved wounds, you are not alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make meaning of your experiences, and build emotional safety from the inside out.
I work especially well with individuals who often feel pressure to stay composed, be the reliable one, or minimize their own needs. In our work together, those expectations can be explored with curiosity and compassion, allowing for deeper emotional insight, stronger relationships, and a renewed sense of self.
Many of the adults I support appear high-functioning on the outside while internally navigating anxiety, self-doubt, burnout, grief, or relationship uncertainty. Some feel stuck in familiar cycles; others are seeking clarity, resilience, and lasting emotional growth during times of transition.
My greatest strength as a therapist is creating a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel deeply heard, understood, and supported. I believe meaningful healing happens when you feel emotionally safe enough to explore your experiences, patterns, and vulnerabilities at your own pace.
My work is rooted in attachment-informed care and reflects the philosophy behind my ROOTED approach—supporting you in understanding the connection between your emotional history, nervous system, relationships, and overall wellbeing. Together, we explore how early experiences and life stressors shape the ways you cope, connect, and care for yourself, while building practical tools that help you feel more regulated, secure, and grounded in daily life.
Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I integrate practical strategies with deeper emotional processing, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Attachment-Based Therapy. This allows us to work both in the present—managing anxiety, boundaries, and overwhelm—and at the root level, where long-standing patterns can begin to shift.
You can expect our sessions to feel like a partnership where your voice matters and your pace is respected. We focus on strengthening your relationship with yourself, developing more secure ways of relating to others, and creating space for growth during life transitions.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when you feel safe, understood, and connected to your inner foundation, lasting change becomes possible. Therapy becomes not just a place to cope, but a place to feel more rooted in who you are and the life you are building.
f you are looking for telehealth therapy in Florida that combines compassion, real-world understanding, and a personalized approach, I invite you to reach out today. Let us start building a path forward—toward clarity, healing, and lasting change.
